Membranous glomerulonephritis, also known as GN, is a medical condition which refers to the inflammation in kidneys and cause kidney function decline. Read on and find its cause, symptoms, treatment and risk factor.


Membranous glomerulonephritis is caused by thickening of part of the glomerular basement membrane. Glomerular basement membrane is a part of the kidneys that helps filter waste and extra fluid from the blood.


When you are diagnosed with membranous glomerulonephritis, you may experience one or more of the following symptoms: fatigue, edema, high blood pressure, Proteinuria, poor appetite, weight gain etc.
