Foods that contain low-phosphorus include: Non-dairy milk substitute, Zucchini squash, Broccoli, Sherbet, Hard Candy, Non-cola soda etc. And the food that are high in phosphorus include: Cola Drinks, Chicken/beef liver, Ice Cream, Beer, Caramels, Peanut Butter, Nuts, Sardines, Cheese etc.

Low-protein Diet

Although protein is an important part of any diet, too much protein can be a problem, if you happen to be a person with Lupus Nephritis, because high protein foods will burden kidneys and contribute to Lupus Nephritis. A low-protein diet will reduce the workload on these organs.
