Renal Parenchymal Disease In Transplanted Kidney

Renal Parenchymal Disease In Transplanted KidneyRenal parenchymal disease occurs when lesions in kidney functioning tissue, renal parenchyma. When kidneys fail completely, patients may need to do kidney transplant. However, disorders may appear again in renal parenchyma of transplanted kidney. Should patients accept another kidney transplant again? What should they do?

Many disorders can cause damage to kidneys. They are diabetes, high blood pressure, deposits of immune complexes, infections, overuse of medications, and so on. If uncontrolled, some of these primary causes can cause damage to transplanted kidneys especially diabetes and immune disorders.

In view of this, if someone suffers from renal parenchymal disease again after kidney transplant, they should take some effective treatments to prevent further kidney damage and protect the transplanted kidney.

The first step should manage the underlying cause tightly. For example, if diabetes causes renal parenchymal disease, patients should develop a diet plan suitable for both diabetics and kidney patients, take antidiabetic medications at the recommended time, and do exercise regularly. If patients’ primary kidney disease is FSGS or IgA Nephropathy, the treatments should be able to remove immune complexes and regulate the immune system. In one word, as long as the underlying cause is managed strictly, further kidney damage can be prevented successfully.

The second step is to repair damaged renal parenchyma. The key is to provide enough nutrition, blood and oxygen for kidney functioning tissues and increase the self-curative ability of these cells.

The last but not the least, some auxiliary therapies such as Medicated Bath, Acupuncture, Foot Bath and Cycle Therapy should be used to strengthen the therapeutic effects of the whole treatment.

The suggested treatment plan should depend on patients’ illness condition. If you want to get a best treatment option for yourself, you should tell us more about your illness condition.
