Vegetables

- Bottlegourd/white pumpkin (lauki), cabbage (pattagobhi), cauliflower (bnadgobhi), green peas (matar), potatoes (aloo), carrot (gajar), spinach (palak), french beans ( saemi), brinjal / egg plant (baingan), ladyfinger (bhindi), pumpkin yellow (kaddo), mushroom, fenugreek leaves (methi patta), capsicum (shimla mirch), ridge gourd (turayi);

Pulses

- Kidney beans (rajma), gram split (arhaar daal), bengal gram (chana), black eyed beans (chole), lentil, split green gram (moong daal dhuli), chick peas (kabuli chana), split red gram (masoor daal);

Chapati = thin layer of wheat flour dough grilled indirectly on hot thick iron plate.

paratha = chapati with small quantity of oil/ghee

ghee = fat from cow milk

Fruits

- Apple, red grapes, cranberries, blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, cherries, pineapple, pomegranate
