Diabetic Kidney Disease: Conditions that You should not Do Exercises

It is known to us that proper exercises are helpful to patients' health. Long-standing poor control of blood sugar and accumulated kidney damage lead to Diabetic Kidney Disease. 1. Poor control of blood pressure: Serious high blood pressure caused by kidney damage are mostly difficult to control, if your blood pressure are not well controlled, you had better not take strenuous exercises.

2. Serious renal insufficiency: When there are serious renal insufficiency and accumulated uremic toxins, such as, poor appetite, abdominal distension, nausea, skin itch, anemia.

3. Repeated swelling(edema): changes of neuroendocrine system caused by sports can promote the accumulation of water and salt in the body and aggravate this phenomenon. So, under the following circumstances, patients should stop taking exercises: existing repeated edema, fatigue, facial swelling or swelling on lower limbs.

4. Continuous massive proteinuria: strenuous exercises can increase the secretion of urinary protein. And the increased proteinuria itself can aggravate kidney damage.

5. Physical exercises can increase the burden on heart, so it may aggravate ischemic heart disease and hypertension, causes cardiac insufficiency or cardiac arrhythmia.

6. Patients with retinopathy. After sports, the possibility of retinal hemorrhage can increase.

Obviously, although sports is a better health care measure, but it doesn’t mean that as long as you take exercises you will get good results.
