Loss Sexual Interest

Kidneys are important organs which work as a part of endocrine system which produces hormone. And the hormones affect a man’s feel sexual desire. When you suffer from chronic kidney disease over years, losing sexual interest may happen.


Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms men with kidney disease experience. People with chronic kidney disease may feel tired in their daily life. As the kidney damage develops, the tiredness will increase and last a longer time. Ongoing fatigue should be discussed with your doctor and renal dietitian.

Emotional Stress

Men patients with CKD may feel worried, upset and depressed when they think of the progression or relapse of chronic kidney disease. It is common to see. However, this emotional stress may cause loos of energy and lower interest in activities they loved before, including sexual activity.
