1. Fluid retention or swelling

As excretory organ, kidneys’ main function is to remove extra fluid from the body. If this function declines, excessive amount of fluid will collect in the body, causing fluid retention. Then, patients will find swelling appears in their eyelids, legs, feet, ankles, abdomen, and so on.

2. Foamy urine

For kidney patients, foamy urine is more likely to indicate protein in urine. Proteinuria is one factor to affect kidney disease prognosis, because protein leakage is more likely to damage kidney filtering structure further. Besides, proteinuria also has a link with swelling. If patients have proteinuria, they should take medicines to ease their proteinuria timely.

3. Fatigue and weakness

4. Changes of urination color
