- Hi, Janicede. Thank you for your message on our website. Blood in Urine can be caused by many things, not just only kidney stones or period blood. As you said, period blood has blood and other things, but yours only contains blood and it’s light pink. So it may be caused by other factors. And if your blood urine lasts longer than 7 days, it is less possible to result from period blood.

You have kidney stone history before? Why you say you have kidney stones, but never say the blood may come from other causes. I suggest you to take Test firstly. Blood test and urine test is the easy way to find the answer of your questions.
