Can I Take Surgery for My 46mm Cyst on Left Kidney and 21mm Cyst on Right Kidney

Posted: by sawantshilpa Time: 2013-03-18 15:39

Topics: Kidney Cyst

Details: I am attaching the copies of my MRI and CT scan which was conducted last Thursday. You may see there are numerous cysts on left kidney and the largest cyst is 47mm. And there is a 21mm cyst on the right kidney. Regards.

Expert Answer
There is nothing to worry about the simple cyst on right kidney, but the cyst on left kidney is within the renal parenchyma and there is renal artery stenosis may be due to the enlarging of the cyst.

I think it is difficult to perform the surgery to pump the cyst liquid out. If this condition continues, there may be blood and oxygen supply in the kidneys and damage the kidney function.

There is no good treatment for this disease in western medicine and surgery is risky. The problem is that there are multiple complex small cysts in left kidney, not only the big one. Therefore, I suggest herbal medicine to improve the blood circulation and remove the stasis so as to shrink the cysts gradually.
