Nephritis: Is Ketosteril Good to Reduce High Creatinine Level 2.8

Topics: High Creatinine Level Ketosteril

Details: I have been diagnosed with Nephritis since 2 years ago and now my creatinine level is 2.8 and I know it is high. Is Ketosteril a Good Choice for me to control the high creatinine level? Please give me a reply. Thanks.

Expert Answer
Controlling serum creatinine level should start from holistic aspect. For Nephritis, some incentive factors include proteinuria, hematuria, hypertension and various infection like UTI or catching a cold, etc. Now, your serum creatinine level is 2.8mg/dl, your doctor should have warned you the relatively serious renal function decline.

Reducing creatinine level should start from controlling the above mentioned symptoms, keeping a good diet also helps. I do not suggest you trying reduce it through medicines like ketosteril or medicine carbon piece. Compared with renal damage, lowering creatinine level should not be the main concern, because the present level is still not very dangerous to cause complication.
