Details: I am suffering kidney disease from last 7 months, and my current creatinine level is 10.2. I have no other symptoms. Is it dangerous or life-threatening?

Expert Answer

In many hospitals, nephrologists think patients' kidney disease has progressed into end stage when their creatinine level is higher than 8.0mg/dl. From this point, we can know your kidney disease is more likely to aggravate into advanced stage.

According to the onset duration, kidney disease can be divided into acute or chronic. Since creatinine 10.2 is dangerous high, patients should take effective treatments to lower their creatinine level and improve their kidney function effectively.

Most often, when patients' creatinine level is very high, they are usually recommended to accept dialysis. Dialysis is one helpful therapy to replace damaged kidneys to eliminate extra fluid and small molecular substances from the body, finally reducing high creatinine level.

However, because you still don't have some other serious complications, you can take some alternative therapies to reverse your kidney damage and avoid kidney dialysis. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy and Clear Blood Pollution Therapy can help regulate the internal environment, normalize blood circulation and improve kidney function.

As long as kidney function is higher than 15% and maintains stable, patients can live with their only kidneys safely. Hopefully, you can be the next one to get rid of dialysis and reduce your high creatinine level efficiently.
