Creatinine 5.8, BUN 82 and GFR 7: What to Do

Posted: by Dr.Zhao Time: 2014-12-22 08:24

Topics: High Creatinine Level High BUN Level

Details: I am 62 year old woman with PKD. I have good potassium, and my blood pressure is under control. My blood test shows creatinine 5.8, BUN 82 and GFR 7. How to manage them?

Expert Answer

High creatinine level, BUN level, and low GFR level, all are caused by decline of kidney function due to gradual enlargement of kidney cysts for patients with Polycystic Kidney Disease.

According to the characteristics, we suggest the combination of Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy and Clear Blood Pollution Therapy.

Clear Blood Pollution Therapy is one treatment option to cleanse the blood completely through various medicines and blood purification methods. It can not only remove waste products and toxins from the body but also add some essential nutritions into the blood, so as to provide a good internal environment for the recovery of impaired kidney cells.

Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is one therapy that can increase the permeability of sac fluid and stop the secretion of sac fluid, so as to shrink kidney cysts gradually. Additionally, this therapy can also repair impaired kidney cells, increase GFR level and improve kidney function.

As long as glomerular filtration rate (GFR) increases, high creatinine 5.8 and BUN 82 declines gradually. Finally, patients' overall health condition is improved effectively.
