Is Creatinine 13 and Urea 123 Dangerous

Posted: by Dr.Zhao Time: 2014-12-14 06:54

Topics: High Creatinine Level High BUN Level

Details: How to lower creatinine and urea? My urea is 123mg/dl, and creatinine is 13mg/dl. I am age 46 and female.

Expert Answer

Normal creatinine level won't be higher than 1.5mg/dl, while urea level in the blood is less than 20mg/dl. Both creatinine 13 and urea 123 mg/dl are badly higher than the normal values. If you also have some severe kidney-related disorders such as hyperkalemia, metabolic acidosis, cardiovascular diseases, and so on, high creatinine and urea levels in the blood will be dangerous.

From the above analysis, you should take prompt treatments to lower high creatinine and urea levels effectively.

Dialysis is one common blood purification methods that can eliminate small molecular substances and extra fluid from the body, so most patients find their creatinine and urea level declines quickly and effectively. However, kidney dialysis may cause some side effects easily.

Compared with dialysis, Clear Blood Pollution Therapy can do more than only cleansing the blood. In addition to reducing high creatinine and urea level, clear blood pollution therapy can also repair impaired kidney cells and improve patients' kidney function. From this point, we can know this therapy is good at treating end stage kidney failure. To learn more about this therapy or dialysis, you can contact us.
