Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) is one genetic kidney disorder in which host of fluid-filled cysts develop in both kidneys. As enlarged kidney cysts replace kidney functioning tissues, kidneys will lose their ability to filter blood gradually. Then, extra waste products especially oxalic acid deposit in the body, resulting in kidney stones. Therefore, kidney stone is one common complication of Autosomal Dominant Polycystic Kidney Disease.

Since staghorn calculus may cause severe problems, you should take effective treatment to remove it actively. Besides, some methods that can shrink all PKD kidney cysts are also needed to prevent kidney failure.
