6 Year Old Child with Nephrotic Syndrome and Swelling in Face Around Eyes

Posted: by zhaoshaoning Time: 2014-03-09 15:37

Topics: Nephrotic Syndrome

Details: My daughter is 6 years old, and she was diagnosed with Nephrotic Syndrome one year ago. Now, she still has swelling in her face around eyes and proteinuria 2+. What should we do?

Expert Answer

Nephrotic Syndrome is commonly seen in children characterized by increase of glomerular basement membrane permeability. Therefore, a large amount of protein leaks into urine, forming proteinuria. Also, extra fluid and sodium accumulates in the body. Too much protein leakage and fluid retention are two common reasons for swelling in various regions including face around eyes.

All in all, damage to glomerular basement membrane is the root cause of swelling for Nephrotic Syndrome patients. From this point, we would like to recommend Clear Blood Pollution Therapy.

On one hand, this therapy can help eliminate extra fluid, sodium and other waste products from the body. On the other hand, it is able to repair abnormal glomerular basement membrane. Once glomerular mechanical barrier and charge barrier recovers to normal, protein will be prevented from leaking.

Because this therapy produces few side effects, it is more suitable for children as well as adults. To learn whether this therapy fits your children, you can learn more about it from doctor online.
